On Saturday I was delighted to attend the Consecration of the new Episcopal Bishop of Brechin, Dr Nigel Peyton. The ceremony took place in the beautiful setting of St Paul's Cathedral. It was a most impressive ceremony.
It was great to see so many people at the ceremony. The picture shows the Cathedral prior to the beginning of the service.
I'd like to wish the new Bishop all the very best of luck in his new ministry. You can read a fuller report on the ceremony on the excellent blog of the Primus of the Episcopal Church, Bishop David Chillingworth.
