West End Community Council

This evening I attended the monthly meeting of the West End Community Council. I always think that the Community Council offers councillors an excellent opportunity to listen to the concerns of local people. Tonight's meeting had a very interesting presentation about the work of Tayside Recyclers from Doug McLaren. This is an excellent project based in the West End ward which does a great deal of good work. Clearly we all need to think about how we use (and reuse) resources, it certainly gave me food for thought. There was also a number of interesting issues raised by local people.
