Support for Pension Dignity at the University of Dundee

Today is World Water Day. When I worked at Justice and Peace Scotland we campaigned for access to water to be a human right and I raised the issue with the UK Government on a number of occasions. This needs international action and I hope that it will come about sooner rather than later.


In Dundee today supporters of Amnesty International are highlighting the issue between Israel and Palestine. I have taken the action which Amnesty International suggest and contacted the Israeli authorities asking that they take action to more effectively share this important human resource. I also support WaterAid who work hard in the UK to highlight the importance of recognising that water is a human right.
Access to water should be a fundamental human right.
